Serum is a nutrient required for cell culture, and plays an important role in maintaining osmotic pressure, promoting cell attachment and spreading, and maintaining logarithmic growth of cells. The serum is stored in a special media bottle, but if the quality of the bottle is not up to standard, it will directly affect the quality of the serum.
In general, the quality of serum depends on two factors: one is the object of sampling, and the other is the process of sampling. Animals used for sampling should be healthy and disease-free and within the specified number of days of birth. The sampling process should be strictly in accordance with the operating procedures, and the prepared serum should undergo strict quality identification. Requirements in the "Procedures for the Production of Biological Products Using Animal Cells in Vitro Culture" published by WHO:
1. Bovine serum must be from a herd or country that is documented to be free of BSE. and should have an appropriate monitoring system in place.
2. Some countries also require bovine serum to come from herds that have not been fed ruminant protein.
3. Demonstrate that the bovine serum used does not contain inhibitors of the vaccine virus produced.

4. The serum should be sterilized by filtration to ensure sterility.
5. No pollution from bacteria, mould, mycoplasma and viruses, some countries require no bacteriophage pollution.
6. It has a good effect on supporting the reproduction of cells.
In addition to being related to the object and process of sampling, the quality of the media bottle will also affect the quality of the serum, especially the sealing of the bottle. If the bottle is not tightly sealed, liquid leakage may occur during transportation, or other bacteria may invade and contaminate the serum.
In view of the importance of media bottles to serum quality, when selecting bottles, manufacturers should comprehensively evaluate the quality of the bottles from the supplier's qualifications, test reports, etc., to ensure that serum can be stored well.
The FAI climbed 5.9 percent year-on-year in the first 11 months of 2018, quickening from the 5.7-percent growth in Jan-Oct, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Friday in an online statement.

In breakdown, investment in high-tech and equipment manufacturing remained vigorous with 16.1-percent and 11.6-percent increases respectively in the first 11 months. Infrastructure investment gained 3.7 percent, staying flat. Investment in property development rose 9.7 percent, also unchanged.
